About This Spot

Pasquale's Pizzeria Restaurant sits quietly along the stretch of Sloat Boulevard, offering a laid-back slice of San Francisco’s neighborhood charm. It’s the kind of spot where the aroma of freshly baked dough and bubbling cheese first greets you even before stepping inside. The pace here is unhurried, matching the casual rhythm of the surrounding Sunset District streets—a comforting pause whether you’re just passing by or intentionally stopping for a familiar meal.

Though seating inside is limited, many find themselves leaning on the outdoor ledge, savoring hot, thin-crust slices that hold their own against the city’s diverse pizza scene. The atmosphere feels distinctly local—unpretentious and quietly proud of its offerings. There’s an ease to ordering, where the warm presence of the staff blends with the dependable promise of a pie done right, whether topped simply with pepperoni or layered with mushrooms and house specials.

Pasquale’s isn’t just about satisfying hunger; it’s an everyday kind of joy. The pizzas arrive with a golden crispness that invites you to slow down and appreciate the comfort of a classic slice. For those who linger a bit longer, the sweet finish of a traditional tiramisu or the nostalgic scoop of spumoni ice cream adds a gentle sweetness to the experience. Beverages, from soft drinks to a modest selection of beers, round out the offerings without fuss.

Walk-ins, cyclists, families, and longtime locals alike find a warm welcome in this modest but memorable pizzeria. It’s a place where you don’t need a special occasion to feel the quiet happiness of good food shared in a neighborhood setting—just an appetite for honest, thoughtfully prepared pizza and the simple pleasure of its company.

Pasquale's is a little neighborhood pizza parlor. There's a ledge on the outside where you can enjoy the pizza. Most of the indoor chairs were on top of the tables so I'm not sure if you can eat inside. I always wanted to try their pizzas because I pass by this restaurant almost every weekend on my bike rides. This afternoon, after a six hour bike ride, I was famished. It took about 20 mins for them to make my XL clams, garlic and pesto pizza. The pizza tasted great! It was oily, had a strong garlic/pesto taste with bits of clams. The texture of the crust was a bit stiff. It was like bread sticks. Good job staff at Pasquale. You guys did a great job with my pizza.

God tier hot za. By far my favorite slice in the entire city! Pasquale’s #2 on Sloat is peak pizza. Specifically the one by the beach, their pizza is something else. Close to New York style? Idk but this is it. The House Special is what you need.

The pizza is beyond good. The chicken was fresh and I believe it was grilled. There isn't any place really to sit and eat, which was a bummer for us since we were just visiting the area.

The pizza is amazing here. Just amazing. Thin, flavorful crust, delicious cheese and sauce. My family and I came in here late at night and ate our pizza in the shop as soon as it came out of the oven. Heaven!
